Craig Michael Fathauer, 45, of Moweaqua, passed away late Wednesday night, June 11, 2025. A visitation will be held from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 17, 2025, in Seitz Funeral Home, Moweaqua. The family request casual attire. Memorials may be made to The Family of Craig Fathauer. Craig was born on August 28, 1979, in Decatur, IL, the son of Michael and Mary (Schmahl) Fathauer. He married Angela Kloever on July 1, 2017 in Sullivan, IL. She survives. Craig was a hardworking man, who was devoted to his family and job. He worked at Mueller Co. for twenty-two years. Craig was a sarcastic, humorous, true spoken, God-fearing man. He loved his beer, dogs, and cooking meat in his smoker. Craig was an amazing father, son, and husband. He will be dearly missed by everyone who loved him. Surviving are his wife, Angela Fathauer; children: Tanner (Rozella) Fathauer, Jasmine Williams, Christian Smedley, Bradley Williams, Evelyn Fathauer, Bella Fathauer, and his nugget, Paige Marie; father, Michael Fathauer; sister, Candi Jo (Russell) Fathauer-Hazelwonder; mother-in-law, Michele Cummins; brother-in-law, Raymond (Rose) Cummins; nieces: Samantha (Jay) Ferguson, Riley Hazelwonder, and Alyson (Marissa) Houchins; nephew, Aaron (Emily) Houchins; as well as many aunts, uncles and a few very special close friends. Preceding him in death are his grandparents; mother, Mary Schmahl-Fathauer; father-in-law, Michael Cummins; sister-in-law, Amber Crockett; and niece, Ashlee Houchins. The family is grateful to Gift of Hope for allowing his life to be a final gift to others.
