Craig Kindle Obituary
March 1, 1959 - December 30, 2025
Craig Steven Kindle, a devoted Husband, Father, and Papa, passed away peacefully on December 30, 2025, at the age of 66.
Craig's story truly began in 1980 when he met the love of his life, Barbara. Their connection grew into a lifelong partnership, and they were married on April 19, 1986. For nearly 40 years, Craig and Barb built a life defined by loyalty, friendship, and a deep commitment to their family.
A hardworking provider, Craig spent many years as a dedicated insurance agent with Metropolitan Life. He later joined Target Corporation, where he worked for 21 years before celebrating his well-earned retirement in 2024.
Outside of work, Craig was an avid sports fan who lived for the excitement of the game. He spent many Sundays cheering for the Vikings and Twins, and he loved the strategy of his fantasy football leagues. He was just as happy playing as he was watching. He cherished the time spent with his golf league, where the friendships made on the course meant as much to him as the game itself. He also shared many happy seasons bowling in a league with Barb.
Above all, his greatest joy was his family. He was a steady presence for his children: Kelly Waskey, Stephanie Stark, and Ryan Kindle. He was a proud father-in-law to John Waskey and Matthew Stark, and his legacy lives on through his six grandchildren: Clayton, Olivia, Jaxon, Amelia, Dawson, and Bronson, who brought immense light and laughter to his life.
Craig was preceded in death by his father, Gene Kindle; his mother, Patricia Peterson; and his mother-in- law, Yvonne Schendel.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Barbara; his children and their spouses; his six cherished grandchildren; and his siblings, Cindy Gamlin, Jeff Kindle, and Kathy Kindle. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Service Information
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Craig's life on Friday, January 9, 2026, at the Washburn-McReavy Funeral Chapel and Cemetery.
• Visitation: 1:00 PM
• Service: 2:00 PM
• Interment: To follow on the cemetery grounds.

In honor of Craig's love for his favorite teams and his long career, the family invites guests to wear Vikings or Twins apparel, or "Target Red", if they choose.

My deepest condolences on the loss of Craig. I knew him from my years at Target as we cross paths regularly. I remember how excited he was when he first became a grandpa.
I always enjoyed chatting about sports, family and work.
