Craig William Leppert, 59, passed away peacefully at home on January 25th in Waxhaw, NC.
Craig was born in Dayton, OH, to David and Bonnie Leppert but spent the majority of his upbringing in Cedarburg, WI. He is survived and dearly missed by his children, Alexandra and Nicholas Leppert, his three siblings, Jeff, Christine, and Scott Leppert, as well as his loving partner of eight years, Lisa Arcuria. His memory is held dearly by his entire family.
Craig moved from Cedarburg in his early twenties to follow his dreams in Los Angeles, CA. He made many cherished memories during his time there, working for the Showtime Lakers and frequenting In-N-Out Burger. He met his former wife, Virginia Leppert, in California, where Alexandra (Alex) was born, before moving to Charlotte, North Carolina, and having their second child, Nicholas (Cole).
Craig spent the next 28 years in Charlotte, making an impact on countless people's lives. Depending on your relationship with Craig, you may have known him as a dear friend, an avid golfer, an amateur comedian, an in-house chef, or perhaps a football fanatic. He could often be found sitting in his office, listening to Bruce Springsteen live performances, always with a handful of Swedish Fish or Peanut M&Ms within reach.
Craig was the person to call to solve any problem, from fixing an unknown issue with your car to installing curtain rods in your new home. He was someone who brought levity to every situation and filled each room with laughter. Always incredibly caring and generous, he would do everything in his power to show those close to him just how much he loved them. Craig touched many lives in unique ways, and he will be missed dearly every day.
The celebration of life for Craig will be a private service to honor his memory with his loved ones.
