Craig Alan McCune passed away from ALS, at Davis Hospice on November 20, 2025, in Cheyenne, WY. He was born on October 22, 1953, in Omaha, NE to Jerry and Gertrude Hobbs McCune. The family moved to Cheyenne when Craig was a young boy. He worked at "Tom, the Tireman", and then as a locomotive engineer for Union Pacific Railroad.
Craig was the Wyoming Libertarian candidate for the US Congress in 1988. He designed and built his dream dome home west of Cheyenne in 1984, with the help of his friends.
