It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of a truly special and beloved man, Craig Ricks. On April 7, 1965, he entered this world and brought endless joy and love to those around him. On Wednesday, February 28, 2024, he left this world, leaving behind a legacy that will never be forgotten.
Craig was an incredible individual, known for his kind and gentle spirit. He was a devoted husband, a loving father, and a loyal friend. His infectious laughter and warm smile could brighten even the darkest of days. He brought warmth and comfort to everyone he met, and his absence will be deeply felt by all who knew him.
Sadly, Craig's life was cut short by the cruel grasp of Early-onset Alzheimer's. Despite the challenges he faced, he never lost his grace or his loving nature. He remained a source of strength and inspiration to those around him, even in the midst of his struggle.
While we are heartbroken by his passing, we take solace in knowing that he is finally at peace. We will forever hold onto the countless precious memories we shared with him, and we will continue to honor his legacy in our hearts and in our actions. Though he may no longer be with us in person, his love will always surround us.
Craig is survived by his wife, Pamela Spencer-Ricks, his daughter, Britney Leatherwood, Sisters, Cindy Ricks Orton (Leo) and Tammi Ricks McCool (Johnnie), Nieces, Miranda Hartle (Brian), Mica Sutton (Ryan), and Megan Halstead (Bobby), Nephew, Tyler Schenebeck, great nieces and nephews, Rook and Wilder Hartle, Piper Schenebeck, Rylah and Presley Sutton.
Craig was preceded in death by his father, Bobby Ricks, his mother, Glenda Ricks, grandparents, Ralph and Nellie Parks and Drewie and Nina Ricks, and great nephew, Caden Ingle.
