Craig´s family moved to their home on 3rd West in Logan across the street from me when we were both 5 years old, and we soon became best friends. We, along with other neighborhood kids did everything together - marbles, bikes, little league baseball (my dad coached, Craig was a good left-handed pitcher, and I played catcher), roller and ice skating, fishing, catching & raising pigeons, summer sleep outs, Logana swimming, doodle bugs (motorized scooters), pinball machines, hitching cars (in the winter), and other fun (and occasional mischievous) activities we could dream up. During our teens, we developed a strong interest in popular music of the times, and formed a garage cover band, playing at school and community events. This evolved into a lifelong passion of playing music together which strengthened our friendship and kept us and our bandmates closely connected throughout our adult lives. On my trips to Logan, in addition to band gigs, we enjoyed going to Crystal Springs and spending occasional weekends at Lava Hot Springs. In the mid `90´s, Craig accompanied me on a business trip to Nashville, TN where we spent several days checking out live bands and tourist sites, including the Ryman Auditorium and Grand Ole Opry.
Craig had many challenges during his life which he overcame with determination, a positive attitude, and the support of family members and friends. He was blessed to have a strong and loving relationship with his five younger siblings, three sons and their families, and his caring and supportive partner, Joyce. He had a positive, care-free outlook on life, and was well liked by all who knew him. Although I will dearly miss Craig, it´s comforting to know he has reunited with parents, his son, Brandon, other family members and friends on the other side. I´m a better person for having Craig as my lifelong best friend! Rest in Peace, until we meet again!

Craig was so important to the local music scene and in particular to helping get music going at the Cache Bar & Grill. He volunteered to help with the construction where he was up on the scaffold with me "stamping the ceiling". Craig was able to perform at the Cache multiple times and he regularly came to support other musicians. Craig was also a regular at the Island Market where you could here his warm laugh 2 rows over when he was chopping it up with employees or other customers.
We sure are going to miss you buddy!!

How I will miss this good man--his fun personality, his laughter, his jokes, his music, as well as his sincerity. He used to make me laugh so hard when I would see him crack himself up. I treasure the years we shared through music. I love him like a dear brother. Rest well Craig. You have gone to another place now, but you will not be forgotten here by those who love you so much.
