Craig Steven Tate, aged 57, formerly of Uniontown, KY, passed away on March 26 in Kansas City, MO. He loved with a fierceness that was never doubted and was loved back just as fiercely. He was lit from within and shone that light on everyone he encountered. He always wore a smile and was always up for his next adventure. Most of you have stories! A Kentucky boy, a river rat, and a rolling stone to his core. He was our Little Prince.
He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Peggy Tate III; maternal grandparents, James C. and Ella Girten; paternal grandparents, George and Phoebe Ann Tate Jr., all of Uniontown, KY.
He leaves behind his daughter Taylor Evans, granddaughter's Brooklyn and Bella Rose of Spring Hill KS; his sister, Janelle Tate Beyerlein, of Belton, MO; cousin/sister, Lana Marie Walker, of Independence, MO; niece and nephews, Lauren (Zach) Hill of Belton, MO; Nathaniel (Kate) Remines of Kansas City, MO; Cory Walker of Independence, MO; Nash Beyerlein of Grandview, MO; aunts and uncles, Ruth Ann (Ken) Stremming of Lee's Summit, MO; Barry (Helen) Girten of Crossville IL; Jan Moeller of Belton MO; Billy (Gayle) Tate of Salem, KY; Mike Tate of Henderson, KY; Tony (Sabrina) Tate of Sturgis, KY; and Cindi (Mike) Girten of Sturgis, KY.
A celebration of his life will be held at a later date in Uniontown with interment of his ashes at St Agnes cemetery with his parents.
