Patty Jean (Banks) Holaday, age 86 went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, August 20, 2025 at 10:06PM. Patty was a resident of Redbanks Colonial Terrace in Sebree, but passed away at Deaconess Hospital Henderson County. Patty worked at Cyanede/Atlantis Plastics for many years and at Gamco/Sunspring until she retired. Patty loved her family, especially her grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Frederick Eugene Holaday, Sr., her daughter, Etoy Deanna Holaday Blanford; her parents, James W. Banks and Beulah A. Wilson; her sisters, Clara L. Banks Rickard, Susan L. Murry and Betty L. Majors; grandson, David L. Skaggs, Jr.; grandmother, Flora M. Banks

Survivors include:

Sons: Frederick E. Holaday, Jr. and wife Tina

Patrick D. Holaday

Daughter: Amy H. Long and husband John

Sister: Lana Gayle Overby and husband Harold

Brother: Ralph Banks and wife Kay

Son-in-law Joe Blanford

Grandchildren: Jason Skaggs and wife Baylee

Michael Holaday, Sr. and wife Crystal

Samantha Holaday

Saleta Wagner and husband Dale

Misty Payton and husband Matt

Chanda Jackson and husband Larry

Great Grandchildren: Jace Bradley, Jonathan Skaggs and wife Mallory, Pyper Wilson

Mason Axleson, Miranda Holaday, Owen Holaday, Michael Holaday, Jr.

And wife Kelsey, Gage Holaday, Sabrina Wagner, Georgenia Wagner,

The service will be 1PM Monday, August 25, 2025 at Whitsell Funeral Home in Morganfield. The visitation will be 10-1 Monday at Whitsell Funeral Home in Morganfield. The burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery in Morganfield.
