Tony Eckman

Tony Eckman, age 62 of Morganfield, KY passed away Wednesday February 18, 2026 at his home. We are heartbroken over the death of our dearly loved Tony Eckman, devoted husband, dad, Paw Paw, son, brother and friend. He was born on March 13, 1963, to Fred and Mary Eckman. Tony spent his early life in and out of the hospital due to kidney disease; therefore, he never met a stranger. He always had an ear for anyone and had many friends. Tony met his wife, Patty, at Western Kentucky University where he was a member of the Alpha Gamma Rho fraternity, which gave him many lifelong friends spanning over 40 years. Tony and Patty moved to the family farm in 2023 after living in numerous locations for his jobs in the AG industry. He loved the Eckman farm and helping his friends farm when needed. Besides farming, Tony had a love for motorcycles which began at a young age.

He is survived by his wife, Patty Eckman, daughters Natalie (Evan) Hildebrandt, Samantha Eckman, Lindsey (Luke) Vinnedge, & three dearly loved grandchildren, Lennox Hildebrandt, Miley Vinnedge & soon to be grandson, Colt Thomas Vinnedge. Mother, Mary Eckman, Tony's siblings: Kelly (Tim) Joiner, Bill (Kim) Eckman, Pat (Tammy) Eckman, Brian Eckman. Patty's siblings: Steve (Judy) Erie, Kathy Reed, Suzy Kingsbury, David (Kendra) Erie, Pam Gaines, Mary (Marty) Miller.

Funeral will be 11 AM Saturday, February 21st at Saint Agnes Church in Uniontown, KY. A prayer service will be held at 7 PM Friday at Whitsell Funeral Home in Morganfield, KY.

Visitation will be from 4 PM to 8 PM Friday, February 20th at Whitsell Funeral Home in Morganfield, KY. Visitation will further take place from 9 AM until the church procession at the funeral home on Saturday.

Burial in Saint Agnes Cemetery.
