Amy was born September 24, 1968 in Slidell, Louisiana the daughter of Ronald Wiseman and Susan (Warren) Wiseman Kosan. Amy married Brian Holaday on September 19, 1987 in Vandalia, Illinois. Their life together was a testament to dedication, love, determination, and selfless partnership, caring for each other during life's many challenges. For 34 years, Amy dedicated her life to caring for children as an in-home daycare provider. Her home was far more than just a daycare; it was a vibrant, loving, and fun-filled environment where children felt safe and encouraged to grow. Amy found joy in a variety of hobbies: she was an avid reader, loved to travel and camp with family. Her days were made brighter by snuggling her grandkids; simple times together brought her great happiness. Amy's creativity could be seen in her beautiful sewing and crocheting projects, many ending up as treasured gifts for loved ones. Amy was known for her sincere kindness and generosity. She had a way of making others feel welcomed, wanted, and valued. Amy was always there to listen with an open heart, offering comfort and understanding. Her nurturing, motherly nature touched the lives of countless individuals, extending far beyond her immediate family. In addition to her beloved husband, Brian, Amy is survived by their three children, who were the light of her life; Mackenzie Graumenz, and husband Mitch of Marthasville, Missouri, Matthew Holaday and girlfriend Sydney of Moab, Utah, and Eric Holaday of Warrenton, Missouri. She was a gentle, devoted Nana to her grandchildren, Amelia and Max Graumenz. Amy is also survived by her father Ronald Wiseman of Canton, Illinois; brothers, Scott and wife Lauren of Normal, Illinois and David and wife Kelly of Parker City, Indiana; sister, Robin Wiseman of Olympia, Washington; sisters-in-law, Susan and husband Clark Durbin, of Vandalia, Illinois, and Diane Isringhausen and Mark Austin of St. Elmo, Illinois; and several nieces, nephews and close friends. She was also loved dearly by her special canine companion, Willow. Amy will forever be remembered for her warmth and compassion. Amy was preceded in death by her Mother, Susan Wiseman Kosan; mother and father-in-law, Morris and Kay Holaday; brother-in-law, Jeff Isringhausen, and grandson, Malak Kayde Graumenz.
