Craig Throndset, 70, of Big Lake, MN, comfortably passed away August 3, 2025, at HCMC in Minneapolis, MN.

Craig Robert was born June 28, 1955, in Grand Forks, ND, to James and Lola (McKay) Throndset. He graduated from Langdon High School in 1973 and attended NDSSS in Wahpeton. Craig lived and worked in the Twin Cities area most of his life.

Craig was a shining light in the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing him. His journey on this earth was one marked by love, laughter, and a vast array of knowledge. His passing has left a void in the hearts of his family, friends, and many more whose lives were touched by him. Family gatherings and card games will not be the same, but his stories will always be with us.

Memories will be carried on by his wife of 26 years, Darcy; children: Amanda (Chris) Ford, Courtney (Dustin) Johnson, Derrek (Kasee) Nelson, Francis (Becky) Crane; grandchildren: Norah, Dean, Devin, Miles, Bethany (Jeff), Hunter; sister Lori (Jerry) Krieg of Dickinson, ND; cousin/brother Jeff (Deb) McKay of Grafton, ND, sister-in-law Carol Throndset of Langdon, ND; nieces: Dawn (Stoney Kruk, Jennifer (Trevor) Romfo, Andrea (John) Maus, Bethanie(Rene) Heredia, Kelli (Dallas) Krieg, Whitney Krieg; mother-in-law Ramona Larson; in-laws: Dave (Debbie) Larson and Doug (Julie) Larson; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Dennis Throndset, and father-in-law Howie Larson.

A Celebration of Life will be held September 14, 2025, from 10am-4pm at Rockwoods, 9100 Quaday Ave. NE in Otsego, MN.

Memorials can be directed to the Throndset Family Memorial Scholarship (1308 12th St., Langdon, ND 58249).
