With deep sadness and enduring love, we share the passing of Craig Millard Yost of Jackson, Michigan, formerly of Concord. Craig passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 26, 2025, at the age of 76, surrounded by family and close friends after a brief illness of six months.

He was born on December 27, 1948, in Fremont, Michigan, the son of Millard Walter and Ethel Mae (Stevens) Yost. Craig graduated from Concord High School in 1967.

Craig is survived by his loving daughters, Corrie (Brian) Castle of Jackson and Jamie (Rick) Brandon of Chelsea; stepdaughter, Shelly (Gary) Stolicker of Holt; his mother, Ethel Yost of Concord; brother, Gary (Debbie) Yost of Cassopolis; sister, Kathy (Fred) Schultz of Grass Lake; cherished grandchildren, Koby Castle, Kooper Castle, August Brandon, and Caelie Lane-Powers; five nieces and their spouses; and one great-niece and three great-nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Millard Yost.

Those who knew Craig will remember him for his razor-sharp wit, perfectly timed sarcasm, and unmatched sense of humor. He had a gift for making people laugh, often when they least expected it. His quick wit was one of his most unforgettable traits. His ability to light up a room with a clever remark or well-placed joke was legendary.

Craig was a devoted father, loyal friend, and unapologetic golf enthusiast. He found joy in life's simple pleasures: a round or two of golf, a cold beer with good company, a sarcastic jab delivered just perfectly, and most of all, time spent with the people he loved. He gave fully of himself in his humor, his loyalty, and his love. He showed up for those he cared about in big and small ways alike.

The family offers special thanks to Craig's closest friends, Kenny, Donna, Eric, Bill, and so many others who stood by him with laughter, love, and unwavering friendship, especially in these past few months. Your support meant everything to him and to us.

Though our hearts are heavy, we take comfort in the legacy Craig leaves behind: one of laughter, deep love, and a life well lived. He would have rolled his eyes at all this sentiment, but we know he would've secretly loved being remembered with a smile.

A private celebration of life will be held with close family and friends. In Craig's honor, raise a glass, share a story, and hit one straight down the fairway.
