Creighton Jordan, beloved husband, father, pawpaw, son, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on July 15, 2025, at the age of 61. Born on September 28, 1963, Creighton lived a life full of love, laughter, and service to others.
Creighton had a deep love for the simple joys of life-hunting, fishing in the Gulf with his friends and family, going out to eat with loved ones, enjoying lively dinner shows, and, most of all, spending time with his children and grandchildren. As Pawpaw, he brought joy and warmth into the lives of his grandkids, sharing stories, jokes, and moments they'll always treasure. He was best known for his sharp wit and sense of humor, always ready with a joke to make others laugh. He was caring and generous, often putting others' needs ahead of his own. Stubborn as a bull but always wise, Creighton was someone you could count on in any situation.
A proud graduate with a BA Business Administration degree, Creighton pursued a career in sound and lighting, where he found fulfillment in bringing experiences to life. Later, he earned his real estate license, continuing to build meaningful connections within his community. Creighton was also a dedicated member of Hillcrest Baptist Church, where his faith guided his compassion and kindness.
Creighton is survived by his loving wife, Mary; his children, Brandon (Michele), Christine, and Olivia (Chris); and his cherished grandchildren, Chloe and George. He also leaves behind his parents, Julius and Hilda; his siblings, Derek (Alicia), Dahlen (Anita), Terance (Chris), and Cameron (Kevin); and many nieces, nephews, and friends who will carry his memory forward. He is preceded in death by his loved ones James (father-in-law) and Betty (mother-in-law), Dwain (son-in-law), and Jayden (grandson), whom he now joins in peace.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 26, at Pensacola Memorial Gardens. Family visitation will begin at 8:00 a.m., public viewing at 8:30 a.m., and the service will begin at 9:30 a.m. In honor of Creighton's favorite color, we invite friends and family to wear green and black as tribute to him.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to Tunnel to Towers and the National Kidney Foundation, causes that reflect Creighton's generous spirit and commitment to helping others.
May his memory be a blessing and his legacy live on in the love he gave so freely to everyone he knew.
