Crystal Brooks Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Tim Stewart Funeral Home - Lawrenceville on Feb. 16, 2026.
Crystal Brooks was a devoted wife, loving mother, cherished daughter, and proud sister whose life was a beautiful testament to selflessness, compassion, and unwavering strength. At just 43 years old, she left behind a legacy of love and dedication that will continue to guide and inspire all who knew her. Crystal was the heart and pillar of her family. As a wife, she stood faithfully beside her husband, Jason Brooks of Monroe, GA, offering steadfast love, encouragement, and partnership through every season of life. Their bond was a reflection of deep commitment and shared devotion to family. As a mother, Crystal's greatest joy was her children. She is survived by her children, Skyler (Trey) Perdue of Conyers, GA; Jasmine Brooks of Crossville, TN; Nathan Brooks of Monroe, GA; and Janie Brooks of Monroe, GA. She poured her heart into each of them, always placing their needs above her own. Whether she was offering guidance, celebrating their achievements, or simply providing a listening ear, Crystal's love was constant and unconditional. Her children were the light of her life, and she was their greatest champion. Crystal was a beloved daughter to her mother, Jennifer Lockwood-McCoy of Monroe, GA, and to her father, David (Jane) McCoy of Cove City, NC. She was a proud and loving sister to Brandon (Kathleen) McCoy of Lawrenceville, GA, and Sean (Hope) McCoy of Cove City, NC. She also leaves behind many aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family members who will forever cherish her memory. Known for her compassionate spirit, Crystal had a way of making everyone feel seen, valued, and loved. She gave freely of her time and energy, always ready to help those in need without hesitation. Her kindness was genuine, her smile comforting, and her presence uplifting. In addition to her devotion to family, Crystal was a driven and dedicated business owner. She approached her work with determination, integrity, and passion, building not just a business but meaningful relationships within her community. Her work ethic and perseverance were inspiring, and she balanced her professional ambitions with her role as the cornerstone of her home.

Crystal was loved deeply by many friends and extended family whose lives were made brighter by her warmth and generosity. Though her time here was far too short, the impact she made will be lasting.
