Crystal Bryant Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Harris Funeral Directors, Inc. - Aurora on Jan. 29, 2026.
Crystal Joyce Bryant, known affectionately by many as "Crys Crys," departed this life on January 24, 2026. Born on October 24, 1961, in Denver, Colorado, Crystal's life was a vibrant tapestry of love, laughter, and faith. Her adventurous spirit was evident from a young age and remained a cornerstone of her character throughout her life. She was an amazing cosmetologist by profession, but her talent extended far beyond the confines of doing hair. Crystal was also an excellent cook, a hilarious joke-teller, and a loving daughter and sister.

Crystal's passion for hair-styling was not merely a job but her calling. Her customers often remarked that she had "growing hands," for Crystal did not just style hair, but nurtured it back to health and vitality. She would often entertain clients with her funny anecdotes while crafting their hair into beautiful masterpieces. Crystal's love for family was paramount, and she cherished every opportunity to bring everyone together, whether it was for a festive holiday meal, a casual weekend barbecue, or a spontaneous get-together.

Spiritually, Crystal accepted Christ at a young age, and her faith was the guiding light in her life. As it is written in the scriptures, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me," (Philippians 4:13). Crystal embodied this verse wholeheartedly, using her talents for the benefit of others and tackling life's challenges with unwavering faith and resilience.

Crystal is survived by her father, William Bryant, her sister, Antoinette Marshall (James) and her only niece Brooke Sweetwine(Tre) . She is preceded in death by her mother, Alice Bryant, and her brother, Jeffery Bryant. She leaves behind a host of aunts, uncles and cousin and her legacy of love, laughter, and faith that will continue to resonate in the hearts of those who loved her.
