Crystal B. Marshall (nee Johnson)
Crystal Marshall, 71, passed away peacefully into the arms of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on December 15, 2025, after a year-long battle with pancreatic cancer. Crystal was born on December 8, 1954 to the late Ken and Eileen Johnson. She was preceded in death by her husband Dean, and beloved sisters, Jeanne and Karen.
Crystal is survived by her daughter Heather Tavallali and granddaughter, Sheila Gard, whom she loved with her whole heart, sisters Cheryl (David) Hudspath, Debbie (Sam) Chiarappa, her 101y.o. Uncle Harold Johnson (Ginger) and Aunt Margaret Ring and numerous special nieces, nephews and cousins. Crystal also leaves her wonderful friends of 50 years, Ann Cheronis and Debbie Schaler. Lisa Whitson, who was like a daughter to her, will also miss her dearly.
Crystal retired after working over 52 years in accounting and office management. She was a conscientious employee, hard worker and gave it her all. Crystal loved teaching Sunday school to children and they loved her back! She loved organizing, gardening and going to the beach as much as she could. Crystal loved going to Hilton Head Island in September with her sisters and enjoyed the water and sunsets.
Her family would like to thank her PCP, Dr. Musa for his kindness and care, Cleveland Clinic oncologist Dr. Guy Tillinghast for his exceptional compassion and service; you made Crystal feel so cared for. Thanks also to Noel, RN BSN, Cleveland Clinic home hospice nurse, for your outstanding service, compassion and help. Lastly, we are so thankful for the support and care at the Hospice Care Center/Ridgewood Road.
