About
Cullen Cavin Obituary
He was preceded in death by his parents, Cullen and Hazel Cavin. Gene was a 1967 graduate of Central High School and spent his entire life in Lookout Valley, where he was raised and remained deeply rooted in the community.
Gene was an avid deer hunter and fisherman who loved the outdoors. He will be dearly missed by his wife of 54 years, Marcia; his son, Trey Cavin (Robin); his daughter, Beth Tipton (Jason); and his four grandsons, Knox and Hollis Tipton, and Ethan and Morgan Cavin.
He is also survived by his sister, Marceen Paseur (Ken); his brother, Jimmy "Squeek" Cavin (Emilie); his brothers-in-law, Richard and Andy Breon; his sister-in-law, Debra Van Voorst (Steve); and many beloved nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life service is being planned, and details will be shared with family and friends at a later time.
In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to the University of Alabama Transplant Center.
