Lisa Darbonne Cavin

Lisa, age 52, passed away on Monday, December 29, 2025. She was a resident of Gatlinburg, TN. Lisa lived a life guided by heart, compassion, and joy. As a real estate agent working with first-time homebuyers, she took pride in helping people find not just houses, but a sense of belonging. Beyond her work, Lisa gave freely, offering food and money to those experiencing homelessness, teaching yoga to help others release trauma, and constantly encouraging people to follow their hearts and let go of old habits that no longer served them. Lisa's greatest accomplishment was raising a happy, healthy, brilliant, loving, and funny son, who went on to marry a wonderful woman. Together they became devoted parents to her beloved granddaughter, a source of endless pride and joy. She found happiness in laughing and playing games with her husband, capturing life through photos and videos, cooking and sharing great food, meeting people and truly getting to know them, making others laugh, and playing every day in the mountains. Her life was a testament to kindness, connection, and living with an open heart.

She is survived by her husband, Chris Cavin; children, Connor Lynn (Katelynn) Ashlyn Cavin, Ethan Cavin, Annabella Cavin; mother, Roxanne Darbonne, siblings, Jessica Soileau (James), and granddaughter, Emerson Lynn. Lisa is preceded in death by her father, Larry Darbonne.

Relatives and friends of the family are invted to attend the visitation at Brandon G. Thompson Funeral Home at 7738 Florida Blvd. Denham Springs, LA 70726, on Saturday, January 10, 2026 from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral service at 12:00 p.m. A reception will follow.
