Curt White Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Peers-Lorentzen Funeral Service - Tulare on Apr. 23, 2025.
Curt White, a long time resident of Tulare, CA passed away on April 21, 2025 at the age of 73. He was born on September 17, 1951 on the Port Hueneme, Naval Base, Hueneme, CA to Clarence (Red) White and Oneida (Bakken) White.
Curt Attended E.O. Green Jr. High School where he met his future wife Carol Robnett. He also attended Hueneme High school and he and Carol both graduated in 1969.
He married the love of his life, Carol, on June 3, 1972. They eventually settled in Tulare in 1976 and raised their family in the community.
Curt was hired as a Tulare City Firefighter in 1978. He often said the moment he stepped foot on the Apparadise Floor of the City of Tulare Headquarters Fire Department, he knew he was home. He was a proud fireman and went on to retire as a Fire Captain after 31 years of service. Forever becoming the hero of our family.
In Curt's youth he enjoyed playing Little League Baseball. In high school he was a team member of the football and wrestling team. Then went on to manage and play men's softball with a very competitive spirit. Curt helped coach his sons and many others to become great wrestlers. In earlier years you'd find him in the gym working out or teaching spin classes. He was also an Avid golfer and enjoyed playing with his sons, son-in-law, grandsons, family and friends. You'd often find him on the Tulare Golf course playing or volunteering. Curt loved to talk and engage with people and made friends easily. We as a family were fortunate enough to hear his life stories and positive words of encouragement.
Curt was preceded in death by his parents, father-in-law James Robnett, mother-in-law Ethel (Dodson) Robnett, son Gary White, grandson Jaxston Rasico, his brother Larry White, sister Garni Tarazon and his sister Darci Nuby.
He is survived by his wife Carol, stepmom Sandy White, brother Bruce White, son Joshua White (Lia), daughter Danielle Rasico (Adam), son Curt White (Francesca) and daughter-in-law Misty White.
Curt is also survived by 17 grandchildren Brandon White, Joshlyn Gomes (Derrick), Levi White (Stephanie) Tristan White (Analy), Madison White, Alexis Williams (Jordan), Tristan Morton (Mireya), Ridge White, Jarrett Tripp, Tristan Perryman, Gage White, Matthew White, Kashia Rasico, Joshua White, Christian White, Lainey Rasico and Gabriel White.
Survived by his 14 great grandchildren James White, Kamden White, Elam White, Sophia White, Hunter Gomes, Fischer Gomes, Palmer Gomes, Luca White, Lorenzo White, Kayleen Williams, Ezekiel Williams, Adalynn Morton, Emma Morton and Santiago Morton.

Prayers of comfort to the family - too many to mention by name. I know Carol has lost her soulmate and her companion of many years. Curt was always ready with a smile and kind words when I would visit.

He fought the good fight. He will be missed.

Dear Carol

A heartfelt sympathy for Curt´s passing. As a fireman, working for the City for so many years, and personal y, talking to him he was always so pleasant and kind and truly enjoyed his job and all his brothers in the Fire Department.

Curt is loved by many and he will have a great tribute to his life.

I know his life and job saved many lives and I´m sure he served his best to help others who came to him for support when they needed someone to talk too or help with a family or personal matter. Never saying "No!"

My sincere condolences! Curt will always be with you in spirit and soul.

Sincerely,

Lidia huerta Donabed

I am so so sorry to hear about Curt. Our families go back decades and I have memories of him always with a smile and a hug. I remember when I was younger thinking he was SO handsome; and he was. When Randy was in the hospital at the same time as Danielle and her baby we often met up at the Subway in the hospital to get something to eat and visit. Curt always insisted on paying for my meal. I know he was trying to ease my heavy load, and he did. He always asked about Randy and offered his help if I needed it. He was a good man. I know he loved his family and was a proud husband and father. I wish I was closer to give you and Danielle a big hug. I loved Curt and always considerd him a good friend. Sending love and light to all of you.
