Curtis was a man with a deep appreciation for all things country, he found joy in the simple pleasures of life. He loved rodeos, country music, and dancing hand in hand with his beloved wife, Rosa.
Curtis spent countless cherished day on his ranch, a place that brought him peace and happiness. His loyal dog, Pepper, was never far from his side, sharing in the quiet moments and adventures of ranch life.
Curtis's warmth, humor and love for his family and friends will be deeply missed but fondly remembered. His life serves as a testament to the beauty of living authentically and appreciating the world around us.
Mr. Ballew is survived by his wife, Rosa Acosta; son: Jason Ballew, Sister: Sandra Stokes and husband Gregory; nephew: Jeffery Ballew; stepdaughter: Yvonne Acosta and stepson: Gabriel Acosta. He is preceded in death by his parents.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 29, 2025 at Oakland Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery, 205 County Road 1718, Rusk, TX, with Doug Hogg officiating.
