Curtis J. Bauder, 66, of Allentown, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, June 21, 2024. Born in Bethlehem on March 11, 1958, he was the son of Maryanne I. (Johnson) Elliott of AZ and the late John J. Bauder, Sr. Most recently, Curtis worked for Rudy’s Car Wash in Bethlehem. Prior to that, he worked as a dishwasher at Chris’ Diner in Allentown.
In addition to his mother, he will be lovingly remembered by children, Shannon and husband Allen Gruber, Jr. of Slatington, Katie Potkovac – O’Connell and husband Jake O’Connell of Nazareth, Crystal and husband Jonathan Behler of Fleetwood, Travis J. Bauder and fiancé Caitlin Stark of Bethlehem; 6 grandchildren; brothers: John J. Bauder, Jr., Jerry Bauder, Richie Elliott; Sister: Melanie Elliott. He was predeceased by a brother, Joseph Bauder.
A funeral service will be held at 11AM on Saturday, June 29, 2024, at Harding Funeral Home, 25-27 N. Second Street, Slatington. Family and friends may pay their respects from 9 to 11AM. The family requests all who attend to wear their favorite sports attire. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the funeral home to help defray expenses.
