Nobles Funeral Home and Crematory announces the funeral service for Mr. Curtis Clinton Crosby, age 75, who passed away on Sunday, December 24, 2023, at the Bacon County Hospital. Mr. Crosby was a native and lifelong resident of Appling County and the owner and operator of AAA Propane and Crosby Farms.
Mr. Crosby is preceded in death by a son, Lonnie Crosby, his parents, Jackson W. and Juanita Crosby, and a brother, Gerald Crosby.
Surviving is his wife of fifty-seven years, Linda Ammons Crosby; a son, Stacy Crosby (Taaffe); two grandchildren, Clay Crosby (Kassidy) and Loni Crosby; a great grandchild, Everleigh Crosby; four siblings, Wendell Crosby (Elizabeth), Phyllis Griffin, Caroldean Crosby, and Kathy Everett (Deryl); and a lifelong family friend and employee, Noreen Leggett.
The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 27, 2023, at 3:00 P.M. from the Nobles Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Rick Brown and Albert Dyal officiating.
Interment will follow in the Satilla Baptist Church Cemetery.
A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Active Pallbearers are Jimmy Hunter, Wayne Lott, Byron Carter, James Clark, Tommy Craven, Jared Craven, and Bruce Craven.
Honorary Pallbearers are Brianna Aycock and the staff of Baxley Wellness Center; Albert Dyal, Charlie Davis, Al Causey, Harold Williamson, Randall and Donna Odum, B.F. Hunter, Floyd Hunter, Charlie Leggett, Gary Dykes and staff of Appling Motors, Jeff Herrington and staff of Thompson Farm Supply, and all friends in attendance.
