Curtis Michael Groff, 16, of Manheim, went to be with Jesus on Thursday, May 2, 2024. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of Michael S. and Kimberly Rohrer Groff. He was a homeschool student in 11th grade, and a part of the Manheim Area Christian Home School Co-Op. Curtis also worked for Buck’s Lawn Care Service of Lititz, and Westview Enterprises of Manheim. He was a member of White Oak Church, Manheim, where he served as youth group President. Curtis was involved with the White Oak Gray Softball Team and Spartans Homeschool Volleyball Team. His interests included hunting, fishing, snowboarding, and riding dirt bikes. He loved to spend time with his family and friends.
He will be deeply missed by his family, which includes two sisters, Colleen D., wife of Eric Litzenberger, and nephews, Bryson and Easton Litzenberger, Claryn E., wife of Rendell Weaver, paternal grandparents, Carl and Nancy Groff, and maternal grandparents, Larry and Carol Rohrer, as well as aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Curtis’ Celebration of Life at White Oak Church, 1211 North Penryn Road, Manheim, on Saturday, May 11, 2024, at 10:00 AM. Friends may visit with the family at the church on Friday evening from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM and again at the church on Saturday morning from 8:30 AM until the time of service. Interment in the adjoining church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may send contributions in Curtis’ memory to Align Life Ministries, 131 South 8th Street, Lebanon, PA 17042.To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
