He was born in Alexandria, LA, June 25, 1941, and was raised in Beaumont, TX. There he graduated from Lamar University with a Bachelor of Marketing and Business. The majority of his professional career was spent in Houston, TX as a Commercial Real Estate Broker with CB Richard Ellis. He retired to Lafayette, LA in 2011.

Other interests included vintage automobiles and building WWII aircraft models. Ever a “foodie,” he and his wife enjoyed culinary adventures at home, around the US and abroad. His quick wit, sense of humor and joie de vivre will be missed by family, friends and anyone that he met.

His is preceded in death by his parents Geneva and James Albert Henderson and his two brothers James Albert Henderson and Robert Larkin Henderson.
