Curtis McKellar, Jr., 62, of Fort Wayne, Indiana, passed away from an extended illness. He was born October 10, 1962, in Detroit, Michigan to Malinda Ward and Curtis McKellar, Sr.
He was a member of New Covenant Worship Center, where he was a greeter and enjoyed Men's Ministry. He was employed with Mullinex (Sabert) for over ten years before retiring in 2019. He enjoyed cooking, traveling, Marvel movies, and comic books. He was also a Pittsburgh Steelers and Alabama Roll Tide fan.
He leaves to mourn, his wife, Carol Thornton-McKellar of twelve years of marriage, his dad who raised him, Robert St. Clair, two sons, Nathan Bibbs of Fort Wayne, Indiana and Lawrence Reed of Warren, Ohio, one daughter, Chanel (Anthony) Linnear, two brothers, Van (Wanda) Nelson and Tyrone Nelson of Warren, Ohio, two sisters, Rhonda Nelson and Anitra (Billy) Dodson both of Columbus, Ohio, nine grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and a host of relatives and friends.
Curtis was preceded in death by his parents, Malinda Ward and Curtis McKellar, Sr., adopted mother, Juanita Nelson, one son, Marcus Bibbs, and one sister, Vivian Nelson.
