Curtis Parker Obituary
Curtis Dell Parker, a cherished soul, passed away peacefully on June 27, 2025, at the age of 77. Born on July 27, 1947 in Leesville, Louisiana to Lee Arthur Parker and Lulla B. Parker, Curtis's early years were filled with the bustling energy of a large and loving family. Although he called Louisiana home, he made his forever home in Omaha, Nebraska, where he developed a great community, lifelong friends, and his chosen family. For many years, Curtis dedicated himself to the Omaha Public School District, where he served as a school bus driver. Enjoying frequent meetups with his friends at the local Golden Corral, he was the kind of person who could light up a room with his presence and make everyone feel at ease. As we say farewell to Curtis, we reflect on a life well-lived—a life filled with laughter, love, and an abundance of friendship. While he may no longer be with us in body, his spirit remains a guiding light for all who were fortunate enough to know him.
