Curtis Sands Obituary
Curtis is survived by four daughters, Ashley (Derek) Pourroy of Clifton; Kristi (Eric) Bone of Clifton, Megan Sands of Largo, Florida, and Faith Sands (Zach Rieken) of Chebanse; two sons, Sean Sands (Jessica Ward) of Clifton and Jared (Brittany) Sands of Clifton; nine grandchildren, Alana and Alexa Pourroy, Sophia, Savannah, and Wyatt Bone, Brice and Arielle Minter, Braylen Rieken, and Hudson Sands; two brothers, Mark (Connie) Sands of Indiana and Joe (Dianne) Sands of Independence, Missouri.
Curtis enjoyed bowling, playing pool, softball, baseball, and spending time with his family. He worked for ABF Freight for many years as a Dock Supervisor. Curtis was a proud veteran of the United States Marines.
A visitation will be held on Friday, May 2, 2025 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Knapp Funeral Home in Clifton.
A Celebration of Life will be held from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at The Office Bar and Grill (6070 IL-17, Kankakee, Illinois) on Saturday, May 3, 2025.
Cremation rites will be accorded by the Knapp Funeral Home.
Memorials will be to the donor's choice.
