Curtis James Saucier, Jr., affectionately known as “CJ,” passed away peacefully at his home in Perkinston, Mississippi, on Monday, September 22, 2025, at the age of 42. Born on December 8, 1982, CJ was full of love, laughter, and a strength that carried him through life. He was a devoted father who adored his children and grandchildren, always putting family first. Strong and brave, CJ lived with a heart as big as his smile, leaving behind memories that will forever be cherished. He found joy in the outdoors, especially fishing and hunting, and he loved tending to his mini farm. A true country soul, CJ enjoyed the simple pleasures in life—coffee on a cool morning, the sound of nature, and time spent with the ones he loved. He was also a talented cook, known for his delicious tomato gravy, homemade gumbo, crawfish, and seafood that brought family and friends together around the table. CJ was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Zack Blackwell, and his paternal grandparents, Verian and Merle Saucier. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his children, Tasha Saucier, Khialey Saucier, Kierstin Saucier, Hunter Saucier and Katrin Saucier; his parents, Curtis Sr. and Ella Saucier; his sisters, Angel Saucier and Michelle Saucier; grandchildren, Houston Cruse and Willow Page and his maternal grandmother Flora Mae Hill. He will also be deeply missed by his beloved four-legged companion, Jasmine Saucier. Services to honor CJ will be held at Refuge Baptist Church Sunday, September 28, 2025 at 5:00pm. Visitation will be from 2:00 till 5:00 pm at the church. Trinity Funeral Services is honored to serve the Saucier family in their time of need and asks that you remember them in your thoughts and prayers through the days ahead.
