CURTIS “SCOTT” SHEELER, 65, of Sparta, Illinois, passed away at 10:38 am, Tuesday, July 8, 2025 at his residence.
He was born to the late Franklin D. and Leola (nee Koester) Sheeler on July 1, 1960 in Sparta, Illinois.
Scott worked as the Chief Financial Officer at SSI in Herrin, Illinois until his retirement.
He grew up at St. John Lutheran Church in Sparta and was a member of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Steeleville. Scott enjoyed riding his Harley and loved his horses. His grandchildren were his life and lovingly called him “Hee Haw”.
