Curtis was born on November 5, 1942, in Orange, Texas. Skipper, as he was affectionately known by those closest to him, possessed an unwavering zest for life. His remarkable journey was adorned with a multitude of passions and interests that shaped him into the extraordinary individual that he was. A true outdoorsman at heart, Skipper found peace and joy in indulging in his favorite hobbies of fishing and bow hunting.

With an insatiable appetite for experiencing new cultures and embracing adventures far and wide, Skipper traveled the world with wide-eyed wonder. Each journey provided him with an opportunity to expand his horizons and forge everlasting connections with people from diverse backgrounds. His vibrant spirit ignited a spark wherever he ventured.
But above all else, Skipper's love for his family knew no bounds. He treasured every moment spent with his loved ones and considered them his greatest treasure. His unconditional love shone brightly in every gesture, every embrace, and every word of encouragement shared.
