Curtis Lee Stallings Jr.

Curtis Lee Stallings Jr., 67, of Edgecombe County, North Carolina, passed away on December 26, 2025. Born on June 20, 1958, Curtis grew up with a love for family, a natural talent for mechanics, and a lifelong passion for cars. He was always fixing, building, or tinkering-and his heart was always open. He loved his dogs, Penny, Poppy, and Ellington.

Curtis is survived by his mother, Daisy Griffin, and his loving wife, Katina Stallings, Two sons Eddie Lee Stallings (April) and Joshua Waters; two daughters Brandy Farmer and Charlea Waters (Seth). He is also survived by his sisters, Linda Ennis and Tina Radford (Jimmy); his cousins Keith Griffin, Scott Griffin, Ann Griffin, and Marty Bottoms (Sue); thirteen grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his father Curtis Stallings Sr.; stepfather Edward Griffin, his brothers Ricky Stallings and Jesse Stallings; his son Bryan Keith Waters; his sister Kay Brantley; and his niece Shannon Parker.

A funeral service honoring Curtis will be held at 12:30 PM on December 30, 2025, at Cornerstone Funeral Home, officiated by Douglas Leonard. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m.- 12:15 p.m. prior to the service. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery.
