Curtis Lee Wilkinson, born March 14, 1959 in Amarillo, Texas passed away

peacefully on February 23, 2026 after a lengthy illness surrounded by his family.

Curtis was preceded in death by his parents Pershing Bufford Wilkinson and Ella

Beth Coons Wilkinson.

He married Tina Wilkinson, with whom he shared 22 years of love and together

they shared their home and hearts with Dexter, their beloved pup.

He is survived by his wife, Tina Wilkinson; his daughters, Christy Wilkinson,

Kimberly Kendrick (husband Keith J. Kendrick), and Tiffany Wilkinson (fiancé TJ

Elam); his grandchildren Brendan Koch (fiancé Caitlyn Simpson), Karlee

Kendrick (fiancé Tony Rocha), Keith R. Kendrick, Cayden West, Dawson

Wilkinson, Colton West, and Bentley West; and great-grandson Aiden Koch.

Curtis and Cindy Ewen, his former wife, remained lifelong friends and devoted

co-parents.

Curtis lived in Pasadena, Texas where he loved cheering on all Houston sports

teams, watching westerns, squirrel watching, bbqing for family, drinking Big Red,

and adding to his extensive monkey collection. Above all, he loved his family

more than anything and always put them first.

Throughout his illness he demonstrated unwavering strength and devotion to his

family because of this, his family was blessed with many more years with him. He

will be remembered for his devotion to his family, his strength, and his steady

caring presence. His legacy lives on through his children, grandchildren, and

great grandchild, and all who knew him.

He will be deeply missed and forever loved.

A celebration of life, in honor of his birthday will be held on Saturday, March 14,

2026 at 12:00 pm at Carnes Funeral Home at 1102 Indiana St. South Houston,

TX 77587.
