CURTISHA TIYONA DOWELL, born on March 17, 1998, in Athens, Texas, made an indelible mark during her brief time with us. She peacefully departed this life on April 13, 2025, in Dallas, Texas, leaving behind cherished memories and a legacy of love and joy.
Curtisha was a proud graduate of Lincoln High School in Dallas, Texas, where she laid the foundation for a promising future. She built a successful career as a cashier in the retail industry, known not only for her hardworking nature but also for her vibrant personality. Her zest for life was evident in her love for dancing and sharing meals with those she held dear.
Above all, her proudest accomplishment was her family, with a special focus on her beloved son, Ronald, (THREE), is a constant reminder of her legacy of love.
Curtisha will be remembered for her vibrant spirit, her infectious laugh, and her ability to light up any room she entered. Her family and friends found solace in her presence, and her life, though short, resonated with warmth and affection.
The services honoring Curtisha's life will be held at Golden Gate Funeral Home in Dallas, Texas. A Wake Service is scheduled for April 24, 2025, beginning at 7:15 PM, followed by a Funeral Service on April 25, 2025, at 1:00 PM. She will be laid to rest in a burial service at Southland Cemetery in Grand Prairie on the same day.
As we gather to celebrate the life of Curtisha Tiyona Dowell, we are reminded of the love and joy she brought into our lives. Her light will forever shine in our hearts.
