Cydnie Jo Mendoza, 22, of Pecos, passed away on August 5,2024 in Pecos, Tx. Cydnie was born in Odessa, Tx to Ruben Anaya Mendoza and Manuela Leos Hernandez on June 7,2002. She went school in Pecos and later moved to El Paso, Tx where she graduated from Pebbles Hill High School. Before moving to El Paso Cydnie served as an Alter Server at Santa Rosa Catholic Church alongside Father Fabian. After graduation she moved to Pecos to be closer to family. She worked as a Barista for Starbuck. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She had a passion for drawing, painting and writing. She also enjoyed spending time with her pride and joy Bella Trix her dog and Phantom her cat.
Cydnie is preceded in death by her maternal grandfather Florencio F. Hernandez Sr, great grandparents Abel and Manuel Leos Sr, great grand parents Pablo and Ysa Hernandez, uncles Abel Leos Jr, Daniel Leos .
Cydnie is survived by her grandmother Maria A. Hernandez, parents Ruben A. Mendoza and Manuela L Hernandez, grand parents Francisco and Enedina Mendoza, bothers Joel Mendoza, Zackary Ramirez, sister Iris Mendoza, Mellie Lillyanna Hernandez, aunts Jennifer Hernandez, Michelle Pena (Gregorio), uncles Paul Hernandez(Darlene), Florencio Hernandez Jr (Gina). Cydnie is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles nieces, and cousins. She also leaves behind her beloved pets Bella Trix and Phantom.
Visitation will be 1 pm to 9 pm on Monday, August 12, 2024 at Pecos Funeral Home. Rosary will be at 7:00 pm on Monday August 12, 2024 at Pecos Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:00am Tuesday August 13, 2024 at St Catherine's. Arrangements are by Pecos Funeral Home.
