Cyndie Moore, 69, a kind, fun-loving, caring individual from Fishers, went to her Heavenly home on Monday, November 11, 2024. She was at Community Hospital North in Indianapolis surrounded by her family when she passed after a courageous battle with cancer. Cyndie was born on March 14, 1955 to Albert and Marilyn (Hornbach) Scott in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Cyndie was a 1973 graduate of Hamilton Southeastern High School. She worked as a clerk for the Hamilton County Government Center and as a legal assistant for S. Neal Ziliak in Noblesville and Orfanos & Alvarado in Fortville until she retired in 2016. She was married to the love of her life, Douglas Moore for 46 years before he passed away in 2018. Cyndie enjoyed being crafty, loved her Bible journaling gatherings and was active in a card group (especially liked euchre). Cyndie played softball in her younger years and spent many days watching Doug, her sons and granddaughters play sports. Bowling was another sport she spent lots of time playing and watching over the years. She was always up for a gambling getaway to Four Winds Casino, going to her favorite music concerts and enjoyed lots of fun and laughs on her trips with her girlfriends. Her smile would light up a room and her laughter was contagious. Cyndie had a great sense of humor and delighted in spending time with her family and friends. She also cherished cuddling with her precious little dog, Dory.
She is survived by her sons, Matt (Jody) Moore, Brian (Michelle) Moore, and Brad (Alisa) Moore; seven granddaughters, Maddie, Rylie, Kelsey, Kaylee, Mariah, Alivia, and Sophia Moore; sisters, Carla (Bill) Bowman, and Cheryl Morgan (Abby); brother, Douglas (Roseanne) Scott; brother-in-law, Stephen (Bonnie) Moore; and her special companion, Mark Kratky.
In addition to her parents, Cyndie was preceded in death by her devoted husband of 46 years, Douglas R. "Doug" Moore in 2018; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, David & Barb Moore; sister-in-law, Lucinda Moore; and in-laws, Lloyd & Dorothy Moore.
