Cynthia Antonelli Obituary

Cynthia Marie Antonelli, born January 22, 1961, passed away unexpectedly on November 16, 2025, at the age of 64.

Cindy was born in Oakland, California, to Roger and Carol Bell, and spent her childhood in Pleasanton and Danville. She attended Monte Vista high school and was a member of the Pom Pom Squad. After graduating high school, she attended San Diego State University where she graduated Magna Cum Laude with a degree in marketing.

While attending a wedding, a young groomsman named Antonio boldly walked up to her and told her he would like to take her out and asked for her number, an act of confidence that paid off. A year and a half later he proposed, and the two were married and later sealed in the Los Angeles Temple.

After college, Cindy jumped headfirst into annuities sales to gain experience and land her dream job as a pharmaceutical sales representative. Her spunky personality and natural charisma made her an instant success. She quickly rose through the ranks to become a district sales manager. She won every award she could win, earning trips to Africa, Canada, Europe and probably would've made it to the moon if the company had offered that too.

At the pinnacle of her career, she stepped away to fulfill one of her biggest dreams, becoming a mother. In 1999 and 2001, Cindy and Antonio adopted their two children, Nicole and Michael. Becoming a mother was one of Cindy's greatest joys. She planned elaborate themed birthday parties, cheered loudly from the sidelines at every game, recital, and performance, and never once shied away from being the proudest mom in the room. When her kids graduated from High School, she once again returned to pharmaceutical sales. She didn't miss a beat and went right back up to the top of the high achiever charts.

What we will miss most is the joy and light Cindy carried with her everywhere she went. Her laugh, loud, contagious, and wonderfully unrestrained, made it impossible not to smile, even if she happened to be laughing at you instead of with you. She was the life of every party and always knew how to make an ordinary moment feel fun. Country music was the soundtrack of her life, and she loved seeing her favorite artists in concert. She also adored her dog, Buttercup, and could often be found walking with her, eventually pushing her in a little stroller when Buttercup got older.

Cindy is survived by her husband, Antonio; her children, Nicole and Michael; her brother; Mike, her step siblings Mark and Karen; and her stepmother, Becky.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Roger and Carol Bell. We are certain they are having a joyful reunion together in heaven.

We know we'll hear Cindy's unmistakable laugh again someday, probably echoing through heaven. Until then, even though we'll miss her terribly, we're grateful for the promise that families are forever.
