Cynthia Dacey Obituary
Cynthia Dacey, 68, of Maplewood NJ, passed on May 16, 2025.
Cindy was born in Newark and lived in Maplewood for more than fifty-five years. After graduating from Columbia High School in 1975, she worked as a purchasing agent manager for Revlon Inc. She volunteered her time organizing the annual Revlon Run Walk for cancer in NYC. She was recently employed by ShopRite in Elizabeth, NJ.
Cindy is predeceased by her father, William T. Dacey and her beloved cat, Tiger. She is survived by her loving mother, Laura Gechtman Dacey; loving sister, Sharon and brother, William. She is also survived by her brother-in-law, John and her cherished niece, Amanda.
Cindy enjoyed cooking, family gatherings, and the Jersey Shore. She was a devoted Yankees fan and attended many games.
Visitation will be held at The Jacob A. Holle Funeral Home, 2122 Millburn Ave, Maplewood, on Friday, May 23rd from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Hanover.
In lieu of flowers donation to Tabby's Place 1100 US Highway 202, Ringoes, NJ 08551 in Cynthia's memory would be appreciated.
