Cynthia "Cyndi" Deisenroth, age 70, of Island Lake passed away November 26, 2025. Beloved wife to Dennis Deisenroth for 40 wonderful years. Devoted mother to James (Cheryl) Reed, Amanda (Chris) Williams, Raymond (Helen) Reed, and Rhonda (the late Jeffrey) Westphal. Cherished Granny to Lucas Reed, Sarah (Devin) Palmer, Tarquinn Reed, Cambria Reed, Michael Reed, Austin Rosko, Jarrett Williams, Brooklynn Konecny, Jared (Mary Mueller) Wilson, Kati Reed, Camden Reed, Chloe Wilson, Matthew Westphal, Johnathon Westphal, Brett Westphal and the late Jeffrey "J.J." Westphal. Adored great-granny to Sylas, Sawyer, Haley, Caleb, Ezra, Olivia and Teairra. Dear sister to Shelley (Frank) Oney, Theresa (Gene) Madaj, and the late Marty (Shelley) Crosby. Preceded in death by her parents Leslie Crosby and Maxine (Donald) Berg. Beloved aunt and cousin to many.
Cyndi, also known as "Granny" to everyone-whether by blood or by heart-she had a gift for making people feel welcomed, and loved. Her happiest days were often spent by the water with a fishing pole in hand, finding peace and joy in the outdoors, adoring the frogs the most. A dedicated Ladies Auxiliary member of the Polish Legion of American Veterans, she gave countless hours in service to her community, offering helping hands wherever they were needed. Cyndi will be deeply missed, but her gentle strength and boundless compassion will be carried forward by all whose lives she touched.
