John and I are deeply sadden by the loss of my sister and best friend. Cynthia was beautiful, caring person and had a wonderful sense of humor,
She was a ray of sunshine. Her family, beloved husband Peter, and her beloved sons were the most important things in her life. She was faithful. Our family was so proud of Cynthia.
Her faith was evident and helped her through the years of her health challenges.
Memories of our beloved Cynthia will be with us forever. Words cannot express our sadness

As former members of the First Presbyterian Church of Mount Dora and a dear friend of Pastor Cynthia's, I'm very saddened by her loss. She was warm and caring within her deep toned voice. On the day before our move Cynthia promised to visit us in Dallas, and although that didn't happen, she was there for me with words of love and comfort when Don passed unexpectantly. Now, I'm raising prayers for you, Cynthia as you sit by God's side hearing him say, "Well done, good and faithful servant." Blessings and love, Claudia Caporale

I am so saddened the hear of Cynthia´s passing..although I know she is where she spent a lifetime heading towards her final destination..heaven. She just enlightened so many people with her warmth, humor, knowledge and devotion.I think of her and her sermons quite often...guess that is the best tribute..to have positively impacted so many lives. Our sincere condolences to Peter and his family. We have so many fond memories of our time with Cynthia and Peter socially. Also Cynthia in the pulpit was always special. She had such a wonderful sense of humor and wove it into her beautiful faith based messages. Her prayers were like poetry. I especially remember the ones that had to do with one´s seasons of life. What a blessing for us to have known her.
We keep you in our prayers, Ron and Carol Hanna

While ministering from the pulpit of First Pres Cynthia's messages always left one's heart being stirred by the Holy Spirit. She was a gift.

My name is Diane Wood a member of First Pres Mt. Dora. I have missed Cynthias preaching since she left us/ The way she explained the bible passage with background and history with a little wit thrown left you feeling so uplifted. I am so sorry for your loss.
