Cynthia "Cindy" Jean Dubay, 67, of West Springfield, Massachusetts, passed away surrounded by her loving family on August 5, 2025. Cynthia was born on October 18, 1957, in Springfield, Massachusetts, to Thomas and Hazel Stone. From a young age she developed a deep love for horses and was a devoted member and supporter of 4-H. She was the embodiment of selflessness, always putting the needs of others before her own. Whether it was family, friends, or even strangers, she was the first to offer help. Compassion was not a quality – it was how she lived every single day. She is survived by her beloved son, Jason Thomas Dubay and his wife Samantha of Huntington, Ma. as well as two treasured granddaughters Rylee and Brynn, who brought endless joy to her life. She also leaves behind her devoted mother, Hazel Stone of Westfield, Ma., and loving siblings, Gary Stone and his wife Pamela, Paul Stone and his wife Jennifer, and Ruthanne Carter all of Westfield, Ma. Cynthia has many nieces and great nieces and nephews who will fondly remember her kindness, guidance, and open heart. Cynthia leaves behind many more extended family members and close friends who will forever cherish the love she brought to their lives. She was preceded in death by her father, Thomas Stone, whom she held close in memory. Visiting hours will be held on Monday August 18th from 4 to 7 at Firtion Adams Funeral Home, 76 Broad Street Westfield, Ma. 01085, followed by a funeral service held at 6:30PM in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Dakin Humane Society in memory of Cynthia.
