Cynthia (Cindy) Lynn Felber (Kirshner) was born September 29, 1966 in Enid, OK and passed March 27, 2026. After attending local schools and graduating from Chisholm High School in 1984, she completed her BS in Business at Phillips University in 1988. During her time at Phillips she continued playing trumpet, a talent gained from playing in school band for years. Her early professional career included working at Emricks Moving and CPS/DHS social work. As a social worker she excelled at helping those in need, just another expression of her caring heart.

In 1993 Cindy married her love, Todd Felber. They met in 1990 playing softball through Carmen Kite. Cindy enjoyed the camaraderie of fellow athletes, and as she often was a catcher, her long legs earned her "frog" status. Together they raised their three children Olivia, Emily and JD and eventually moved to their dream home in 80 acres NW of Enid. On their farm they shared an active life including rearing various farm livestock (goats!!!) and enjoying their pond and outdoor lifestyles. She often bottle fed those young goats and she became their mom! Her gardening skills there were remarkable providing fresh produce for many others, along with baking bread and other cooking for family and friends. She and Todd enjoyed hosting large groups at "their place".

For many years Cindy managed the Kremlin Rural Water District with Todd. Most recently she was an active participant at Cherokee Strip Regional Heritage Center "Living History Days", acting as the school marm teaching large numbers of tourists and curious school children on their field trips. "Those whippersnappers better behave in her classroom!"

Cindy loved spending time with her longtime friend and soul-sister Kristi Matal. They traveled extensively together and spent hours laughing at old memories and making new ones. She loved to see the world and try new foods and experience different cultures.

Cindy was an active member of St. Gregory's Catholic Church. As Youth Minister she led an extensive program with volunteer community projects along with many mission and other trips like NCYC and "Winter Jams". She expanded young minds with her especially creative ideas such as having "Baking Wars". Everyone had to bake but were required to use unusual ingredients which they all then shared! She loved bringing youth to Christ and integrating the Word of God into their daily lives.

Cindy believed volunteer work was an essential part of Christian life. As such she worked at many locations, including Enid Public Library, Gaslight Theatre, local museums, her church and others. She made uncounted numbers of crochet products, hats, mittens, worry cats to squeeze, etc. which were most often given to those less fortunate. For years she was an important mentor for many young minds as part of the Kremlin Wildhorse Gang.

She devoted her life to live like Jesus and follow his works. She had a heart of gold and lived and loved to share it with everyone.

Cindy was preceded in death by her parents, Delores Ella Fore (Dysart) and Jerry John Kirshner and stepdad Harrel Fore and also stepsister Patty Forex. She is survived by her loving husband Todd Felber, two daughters Olivia Braxton (Felber) and her spouse Brannon, Emily Felber and son Jerry David (JD) Felber, stepson Jared Hanson, four grandchildren Nicholas Felber, Amelia Braxton, Kairo Braxton and Izzadora (Izzy) Nichols, sister Laura Tappen, three step siblings Anita, Christy and Jimmy and numerous cousins and friends.

She danced like nobody was watching in all moments.

Donations may be made through Anderson-Burris to Enid public Library or Cherokee Strip Regional Heritage Center.
