Cindy Kay Hildreth, of Round Rock, TX passed into the arms of Jesus on January 23, 2024 at the age of 63. She was born on October 2, 1960 in Waco, Texas to Billie McShane and Bill Carson. She proudly served in the Navy from 1978 - 1981. She also worked as a dispatcher for the Pflugerville police department and had many years in Emergency Management in various roles.
Cindy and her husband Rich enjoyed singing and traveling. Her most recent trips were her honeymoon to Hawaii and an Alaskan Cruise. Cindy loved her family and friends very much. She cared for animals and had several loved pets and also fostered kittens. Cindy never failed to be generous and hospitable to those in need. She was especially dedicated to her Lord and Savior and was a faithful member of Crestview Baptist Church in Georgetown.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her first husband and father of her children, Tim Hood, and her sister, Theresa Carson.
She is survived by Richard Hildreth (Husband), Amanda Rick (Daughter), Autumn Rick (Granddaughter), Erin Hood (Daughter), Steven Carson (Brother), Jennifer LaFrentz (Sister) and many loved nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at 10:00 am Friday, February 2, 2024 at Central Texas State Veteran Cemetery in Killeen, TX.
Memorial service will be held at 1:30 pm Saturday, February 3, 2024 at Crestview Baptist Church in Georgetown, TX.
A reception will follow service on Saturday at Cindy and Rich's home in Round Rock, TX.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in her honor to the American Cancer Society.
Cindy is loved greatly and will be missed by many.
