Cynthia Sue Imes, age 74, passed away on December 29, 2025. She was born on July 12, 1951, and was known for her love of family, quiet moments, and simple joys.
Cynthia is survived by her daughters, Tina M. Rieser (Stephen) and Anna K. Gygi (Joe). She was a proud grandmother to Morgan Rieser, Spencer Henning, Christian Gygi, and Kimber Fleming, and a loving great-grandmother to Rori Henning; Leilani and Koa Fleming; and Nora Gygi.
She is also survived by her siblings, Betty Cantrell; Barb Wilson (Kelly); and Jeff Gueulette (Mary), as well as many beloved nieces and nephews.
Cynthia was preceded in death by her parents, James and Betty Gueulette, and her brother, James “Jimmy” Gueulette.
In her quiet time, Cynthia enjoyed reading her novels and working on puzzles—pastimes that brought her peace and happiness. She will be remembered for her love of family and the special place she held in the lives of those who knew her. Cynthia’s legacy lives on through the generations she nurtured and the countless lives she touched. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
Memorial service will be held at a later date.
