Cynthia Knowles Obituary

Published by Legacy on Oct. 1, 2025.
Cynthia E. Knowles, aged 77, passed away peacefully on June 28, 2025, in Zephyrhills, Florida. Born on December 11, 1947, in Tampa, Florida, Cynthia lived a life full of love, warmth, and dedication to her family and passions.
Cynthia's journey through life was marked by her unwavering love and care for her family as a devoted 20yr Navy wife and homemaker. Her nurturing spirit was evident not only in her home but also extended to the animal kingdom, where her love for animals shone brightly. She once nursed a squirrel with great care, even if it ended with a playful bite.
Her vibrant spirit found joy in dancing and the art of sewing, crafting beautiful pieces that reflected her creativity and attention to detail. Cynthia was a member of the United Methodist community, where her faith and kindness inspired those around her.
She is reunited in eternal peace with her beloved husband of 53 years, James N. Knowles, Sr., and her parents, Leon Fannin Eades and Fannie Jewell Roughton Eades.
Cynthia leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories with her children, James N. Knowles Jr. and his wife Lisa, and Angelique Bowie and her husband Thomas. She will be dearly missed by her sister, Linda Clamp, as well as her grandchildren, Ivy, Brandon, Kaitlyn, and Gabriel Knowles, who brought immense joy to her life.
Though she has departed from this world, Cynthia's spirit lives in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. Her life serves as an inspiration to embrace every day with kindness, joy, and an open heart.
