Cynthia Marie “Cindy” (Lepper) Lamb, 69, of Battle Creek, Michigan died April 25, 2025, after a short illness.
Cindy was born March 24, 1956, in Battle Creek to Robert E. and Mary Margo (Grose) Lepper. She grew up in Battle Creek attending Verona Elementary, W.K. Kellogg Junior High and graduated from Battle Creek Central High School in 1974. Cindy was a member of the “Road To Romania” an A cappella choir, traveling to Romania in 1973, where she met her future husband, Jack. Cynthia Marie Lepper and Jack Curtis Lamb were united in marriage on October 15, 1977, in Coldwater, Michigan. With Jack serving in the military and Cindy as a proud Navy wife, the couple began a varied U.S. Navy career, serving in Mayport, FL, San Diego, CA and Norfolk, VA. Cindy volunteered to be the Ombudsman for two ship commands. Upon her husband leaving the service, she was employed as a Unit Clerk in the Emergency Department for Battle Creek Health System. She was also employed as a bank teller and was a waitress at the former Someplace Else restaurant.
Surviving are her husband, Jack; daughter, Kimberly (Ernie) Long of Newark, DE; granddaughter, Abbi Long; brother, Robert R. (Elizabeth) Lepper of Battle Creek, sister, Constance “Conny” Lepper of Fruita, CO; nieces, Chelsea and Alexis; nephews, Shaun and Gabe; and Tigger her orange fur baby companion. Cindy was preceded in death by her parents, Bob and Mary Lepper; a sister, Catherine A. Lepper; and a nephew, Andrew Lepper.
Cindy was an avid crocheter and a lifelong friend to cats. She will be remembered for her dry wit and loyal dedication to family and friends.
