Born in Buffalo, New York, Cindy was the daughter of the late Harry Adams and the late Frances Dabelle Adams. She dedicated her professional life to caring for others, working as a cardiopulmonary supervisor at a cancer hospital. A devout Catholic, she was a faithful member of the Catholic Church of the Nativity.
Cindy was known for her vibrant spirit and zest for life. She enjoyed riding motorcycles with her beloved husband and found joy in knitting and crocheting. Christmas was her favorite holiday, and she was always the heart of family gatherings—cooking, hosting, and making memories. A loyal and passionate Buffalo Bills fan, Cindy never missed a game and loved hosting parties to cheer on her team. Cindy had a fiery personality that was both endearing and unforgettable. Above all, she cherished her family and poured her faith and love into every role she held as a wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
She is survived by her devoted husband of 63 years, James David Lockwood; her daughters, Tammy (Don) Beckedorf, Terry (Mark) Seay, Tracy (Walter) Szyperski, Tricia (Randy) Sweeney, Tara (Russell) LaPress, and Torrie Rohling (Andy); her sister, Mary Wolski; her brother, Andy (Debbie) Adams; 20 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
