Cynthia McBride Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Egizi Funeral Home on Dec. 11, 2025.
Cynthia McBride, age 64, of Atco, NJ passed away peacefully on December 10, 2025 after a courageous battle with cancer. Born on August 3, 1961 in Philadelphia, her life was marked by unwavering dedication, deep compassion, and a true commitment to caring for others.

Cindy is survived by her devoted husband, Michael; sister, Andrea Gladfelter; daughter, Lindsay (Eric) Rundstrom; son, Shawn (Allison); and her beloved grandchildren, Ben, Owen, Mason, and Willa, who brought her tremendous joy. She was predeceased by her parents, William and Connie Glowacz, and her sister, Allison Gordon.

Cindy devoted her entire career to nursing, most recently working as an elementary school nurse. In every role, she offered comfort, guidance, and support to countless individuals and families. Her gentle spirit, kindness, and genuine concern for others made her not only a trusted professional but also a cherished friend and colleague.

Beyond her work, Cindy found immense joy in the simple and meaningful moments of life. More than anything, she loved the beach-finding peace in the ocean air and sand everywhere from the coastline of the Jersey Shore to her second home in Naples, Florida. She delighted in spending time with her friends and family and hosting gatherings, creating fun, welcoming spaces filled with laughter and connection - and of course always offering her famous and sought after chocolate chip cookies.

Cindy's legacy is one of compassion, strength, and love. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her, and her memory will continue to inspire those whose lives she touched.

Family and friends are welcome to attend her visitation Wednesday, December 17 th 9:00 – 11:00 AM at the Egizi Funeral Home, 119 Ganttown Rd., Washington Twp. Funeral service 11:00 AM.
