Cindy Morgan, a beloved member of the Selma community, has passed away on November 6, 2023. She was born on February 28, 1956. Cindy had a warm and caring personality, known for creating a loving atmosphere wherever she went.
Cindy's career spanned many years of dedicated service. She worked at Marion Community Bank, formerly Marion Bank and Trust, until her retirement in 2021. Throughout her career, she held various customer service positions in Selma. From the Vaughn Wellness and Fitness Center to Mr. Waffle and the Elk's Lodge, Cindy's infectious smile brightened the days of everyone she interacted with. Her signature greeting of "Hey Baby!" always brought comfort and joy to those around her.
Apart from her professional life, Cindy enjoyed several passions in her personal life. She had an unwavering love for dancing and was often seen gracefully moving across the dance floor. With an ardent admiration for Elvis, his music never failed to put a smile on Cindy's face. Alabama football held a special place in her heart, and she cheered passionately for her beloved team.
Cindy was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Fudge Morgan, whom she shared many happy years with; her mother, Evelyn Aultman and brother, James Allen Cale.
She leaves behind her sister, Sharon Long; her nieces and nephews, Tabatha "Tabby Cale" (Sean) Casey, Shayenne Booth, and Austin Booth and her long-time friends Betty Jo and Brent Scott, June and Chris Callaway, and Kathy and Jimmy Golden were like family to her throughout the years.
Visitation will be held on November 8th, 2023 from 11:30 AM to 12:45 PM at Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home, Inc. Graveside service will follow at 1:00 PM at Pineview Memory Gardens on 5171 Alabama Highway 22 North in Valley Grande, AL.
Cindy Morgan will always be remembered for her compassion, kindness, and radiant smile. She touched the lives of so many people and her legacy will forever live on in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing her.
