Mrs. Cynthia Joy Spencer, 67, passed away at her residence on Thursday, October 2, 2025 surrounded by her family. Mrs. Spencer was born in Savannah to the late Jackson Spencer and Joyce Bryan Spencer on May 6, 1958. She was a loving and caring house wife and enjoyed her cats, cooking, sewing, watching her soap operas and loved spending time with family, especially her grandchildren. She was vibrant, optimistic and brought joy to others. She wore yellow to reflect her personality and the happiness she brought into others lives.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Joshua Geiger.
Survivors include four children, Aleisha Padgett (Wesley) of Ellabell, Christopher Geiger of Ellabell, Ashley Daly (Brendan) of Boiling Springs, SC and Christie Jonas of Pembroke; two sisters, Jackie Myrick (Tim) of Garden City and Shirley Formby (Ronnie) of Savannah; 8 grandchildren, Wes, Joshua, Adison, Christopher, Aleksa, Carson, Presley and Rowan and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 10, 2025 from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. at Flanders Powell Funeral Home.
Funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m. in the Flanders Powell Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Andrew Dunkle officiating.
The family has requested that everyone in attendance at the funeral wear yellow.
Burial will be private.
