Cynthia Jane Stobaugh, age 65, passed away April 1, 2025 in Cape Girardeau, MO.
She was born May 15, 1959 in Sikeston, MO, daughter of Barbara Miller-Curtis of Matthews, MO and the late Manuel Gilliam.
Cynthia was a beautiful and wonderful soul. Anyone in need, she was the first one to be there and the last one to leave. She was a life-long Nana to all her family. She loved going to the First Christian Church of Matthews with her mom. She enjoyed art and painting.
She is survived by her mother; one son, Matt (Anna) Stobaugh of Sikeston, MO; one daughter, Jessica (Chris) Harrigan of Matthews, MO; four sisters, Evelyn Curtis, Laura Spraggs, Elaine (Reggie) Vandever all of Matthews, MO and Emily Curtis of Virginia; five grandchildren, Dylan Curry, Ryan Sanders, Jace Sanders, Owen Stobaugh, and Rhett Stobaugh; close family friends, Judy Eby and Cheri Whitten ; and by an abundance of nieces and nephews. She was loving and known as Nana.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by one grandson, Robert Matthew Sanders.
Visitation will be held Sunday, April 6, from 12:00 noon until time of funeral services at 2:00 p.m. at Ponder Funeral Home in Sikeston, MO.
Interment will follow at the East Prairie Memorial Park Cemetery in East Prairie, MO.
